Notary Public

Margaret Yeo was appointed a Notary Public in 2003 by the Attorney General, Malaysia. She is experienced in vetting and certifying documents and advising on requirements of various jurisdictions for purposes such as registration of marriages and work permits, incorporation of companies abroad, submission of tender documents etc.

 

Trade Mark Agent

Yeo.Tan.Othman provides comprehensive trade mark services including trade mark searches, trade mark protection, trade mark registration advice on branding and product, trade mark applications (Malaysia and world-wide), registry hearings, trade mark opposition proceedings, assignments and renewals.

 

Company Secretary

Yeo.Tan.Othman offers corporate/company secretarial services to its clients as part of the firm’s aim to provide a fully comprehensive range of legal services from incorporation of companies to commencement of commercial activities and collection of debts and other ancillary services.   1. Property Development

Yeo.Tan.Othman’s clientele includes property developers as well as contractors in the construction industry. Due to the firm’s wide experience in this area, we are able to step in at any stage of the process to assist our clients. Our involvement has been as early as negotiating land acquisitions for development or joint venture purposes and the appointment of contractors and sub-contractors, to the sale and purchase of individual parcels/units constructed, advising on tax and stamp duty issues, and preparation of financing documents such as developer’s bridging loans and purchaser end-financing.

  1. Construction/ Infrastructure Industry

Ancillary to our involvement in the property development industry, Yeo.Tan.Othman is experienced in preparing legal documentation used in the construction industry, particularly in the construction of basic infrastructure projects typically worth RM50m-RM200m.
